Infrastructure Engineer at AeroVect

What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will work directly with our co-founders and our Autonomy Lead to build out the backbone of our development workflow, ensuring our systems are robust enough to support our ambitious engineering projects.

What will you do?

• Take ownership of our data pipelines and DevOps infrastructure by spending the majority of your time on hands-on development and integration with our broader software stack.
• Establish and maintain best practices for software deployment to ensure high reliability and minimal downtime across our systems.
• Optimize developer efficiency by improving our build systems and architecting solutions to resolve bottlenecks in our large-scale simulation environments.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in infrastructure engineering and a deep understanding of cloud compute and storage systems. You are comfortable working with both cutting-edge techniques and proven technologies to support the development of perception, localization, motion planning, and control capabilities. You should be proficient in English and prepared for up to 25% travel as you collaborate with our engineering team and customers on various deployments. We value engineers who are proactive, hands-on, and capable of building modules from the ground up to support our autonomous driving stack.
