The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be a vital part of our security-first initiative, helping to shape the architecture that keeps our customers safe. You will serve as a key technical leader, managing data center operations and supporting a development team of 150 people. This is an excellent fit for an engineer who wants to make deep architectural decisions while contributing to a mission that protects the global digital landscape.

A day in the life

• You will lead complex projects designed to enhance our overall security posture and infrastructure resilience.
• You will manage our data center operations, ensuring our development team has the stable and secure infrastructure they need to succeed.
• You will mentor fellow team members on security best practices and contribute your expertise to our ongoing security-first initiatives.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, or a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering paired with commensurate work history. You communicate effectively in a remote environment and enjoy collaborating with others to solve diverse technical challenges. Your technical toolkit includes:

• Deep expertise in Linux and solid foundational skills in Windows Server.
• Strong networking knowledge, specifically regarding TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall configuration.
• Proficiency with DevOps configuration management tools, with a strong preference for Ansible.
• A talent for creating and maintaining thorough, clear documentation.
• A proactive mindset that stays current with the latest technology trends.

It is a bonus if you have a background in security or experience with tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Nutanix, or VMware vSphere. We are also interested in candidates who have worked with Solaris, AIX, or HSMs like Safenet Luna.
