Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer III to join our Technology Operations team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates anywhere. You will work with minimal supervision to solve complex technical challenges, provide mentorship to your peers, and ensure our cloud platforms remain stable, secure, and scalable.
Your impact
- Design and implement robust reference architectures while standardizing our system configuration and automation practices.
- Partner with our security and network teams to build and maintain secure, high-performance cloud environments.
- Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis efforts, developing self-healing automation to prevent future system failures.
What you'll need
You should have 5 to 7 years of professional experience, with at least 3 to 5 years specifically focused on cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services. We are looking for a technical leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes, along with proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python and PowerShell.
- Deep experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Solid understanding of Kafka event bus architectures and Linux systems administration.
- A proactive mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine passion for mentoring others.
- Fluency in English.
Perks and compensation
The base salary range for this position is $96,000 to $120,000 USD, and the role is also eligible for a yearly bonus. In addition to competitive pay, we offer the following:
