We are searching for a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer II to join our team in a full-time capacity. Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage a secure, scalable IT infrastructure, including Windows domains, virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud environments, while continuously optimizing performance and reliability.
- Develop and deliver technical training for our IT and Service Desk staff, ensuring all documentation is current and reviewed by leadership to maintain operational standards.
- Act as a high-level escalation point for the IT Service Desk, providing expert troubleshooting and support for complex client, server, and network architecture issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this senior-level role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Computer Science, or at least 7 years of equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience, typically 7 years or more, in Windows System Administration, networking hardware like routers and switches, and core services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing VMware in high-availability environments, administering Office 365, configuring Meraki hardware, and managing enterprise-level SAN/NAS storage.
- Proven expertise in supporting cloud-based solutions, information security best practices, and proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automation.
- Relevant industry certifications from vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or AWS are highly desired.
