The opportunity
We are searching for an aspiring IT professional to join us as an Infrastructure Coordinator. This internship is designed to immerse you in an enterprise IT environment, giving you a front-row seat to how we manage and develop our internal systems. You will work closely with our IT team to research new technologies, support our employees, and contribute to projects that directly impact the daily experience of everyone at D2L. This role is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in configuration management, incident response, and information security while working alongside a team that values your growth.
A day in the life
- You will manage a variety of case workloads and project tasks, ensuring our internal systems remain efficient and reliable.
- You will collaborate with project managers and end users to research and implement cloud-first task automation.
- You will participate in enterprise operations and security management, helping us maintain the high standards our company relies on.
Who you are
You are a student who has completed at least one term in an information technology course and is eager to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting. You bring a solid foundation in technical support for Windows and iOS, and you have a good grasp of mobile device management solutions. You are a strong communicator who thrives in team environments, and you possess the critical thinking skills needed to solve complex problems independently. We value your organizational skills and your ability to document processes clearly, as these are essential to our success. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
Why you'll love it here
We believe that internships are a vital time for learning and development. The salary range for this position is $820 to $1,050 CAD per week, based on your specific skills and experience. Beyond the compensation, you will be part of a tight-knit team that prioritizes your growth and provides the resources you need to succeed. We offer a supportive environment that includes flexible work arrangements, home internet reimbursements, and access to employee wellbeing programs like mental health services and financial planning. You will also enjoy regular social events and the opportunity to work in a dog-friendly office. We are committed to building a diverse team, so even if you do not meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply and share your story with us.
