Key outcomes
- Design and architect robust hosting platforms across both our on-premises data centers and AWS cloud environments.
- Author comprehensive high-level solution designs, architecture blueprints, and conceptual documentation.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using industry-standard tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Lead the strategic planning for migrating on-premises applications into the cloud.
- Optimize existing AWS infrastructure to ensure peak performance, cost-efficiency, and rigorous security compliance.
- Collaborate across development, operations, and security departments to align technical solutions with broader business objectives.
- Provide expert technical guidance to stakeholders and mentor team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
We are seeking a senior professional who holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline. You should have a proven track record of designing and implementing both cloud and on-premises solutions. We require a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, along with the following skills:
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, specifically Python and Shell.
- Practical experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
While not mandatory, we highly value candidates who possess the following additional expertise:
- Experience with serverless computing, such as AWS Lambda.
- Knowledge of compute virtualization, hypervisors, and operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with AWS logging and monitoring tools, as well as third-party firewall and storage solutions.
