What is this role?
We are seeking an Information Security Team Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a leadership position based in the United Kingdom, operating in a hybrid capacity. We are looking for an experienced professional who can balance hands-on technical input with strategic oversight and team mentorship.
What will you do?
- Lead and develop our Information Security function by actively coaching and mentoring our analysts and engineers.
- Embed secure by design principles across our technology and product delivery lifecycles to ensure robust protection from the start.
- Oversee our security governance, risk management, and incident response efforts while driving continuous improvement across our processes and tools.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a proactive leader with a deep understanding of security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, and CIS. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your background includes:
- Proven experience in Information Security within a complex or regulated environment.
- Strong expertise in cloud security principles and modern security tooling.
- A keen interest or experience in the secure adoption of AI technologies, including relevant governance and risk frameworks.
- A collaborative mindset with a track record of effective people management and performance development.
