Information Security & Risk Director at Addepar

We are currently seeking an Information Security & Risk Director to join our team and help us continue to scale our security posture in an evolving global market.

Key outcomes

• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with senior Engineering leaders to ensure business priorities are balanced with effective risk management.
• Scale and optimize our Security Operations and Identity and Access Management functions by identifying key metrics that communicate our security impact to leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of security professionals.
• Communicate complex security objectives clearly across all levels of the organization to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Define, structure, and execute strategic security initiatives independently within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Information Security, specifically within Identity and Access Management and Security Operations.
• Demonstrated success leading Security Incident Response teams and engaging with cross-functional leadership.
• Deep connectivity within the security industry, including the ability to recruit top-tier talent and stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Strong educational and training skills to guide teams through program evolution.
• Technical proficiency with AWS and SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks and regulations, including SOC2 and NIST.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with API technologies.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISA, or CISSP.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $184,000 to $288,000. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for a bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
