About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Information Security & Privacy Consultant for a full-time, on-site position. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our company information and the personal data of our employees and clients. You will serve as a vital sparring partner for our management team, ensuring that our processes remain secure, available, and fully compliant with regulations like the GDPR. Your work will directly impact how we protect our clients and maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve our information security and privacy management systems, ensuring full compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and SOC 2.
- Coordinate the entire risk management process, which includes identifying potential risks, defining and implementing mitigation measures, and monitoring performance.
- Provide expert advice to both internal management and external clients, including conducting DPIAs and guiding the organization through internal and external audits.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- An HBO level of education or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field, with a strong desire for continued professional growth.
- Expertise in security and privacy standards, ideally supported by certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CIPP/E, or CIPM.
- Strong analytical skills, a result-oriented mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Dutch and English.
- A proactive, independent, and assertive personality, with a valid driver's license and a preference for living in the Rotterdam region.
Location
This position is based on-site in the Netherlands.
