Information Security Leader Candidate at Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.

We are looking for a Senior Information Security Leader to join our team in Japan on a full-time, on-site basis. As a global leader in entertainment, PlayStation is the force behind the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and a wide range of acclaimed software titles. Responsibilities

• Lead the localization, implementation, and operation of global security processes, ensuring that these measures are effectively integrated into daily workflows for employees in Japan and Asia without creating unnecessary barriers.
• Design and manage organizational security governance by evaluating complex security initiatives, identifying risks, and proposing solutions that align with industry standards while facilitating clear communication with stakeholders.
• Execute global security policies and compliance activities, including the deployment of security awareness campaigns and the integration of security requirements into internal compliance processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of practical experience in information security or related IT fields. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Proven ability to develop and optimize security guidelines, conduct system security reviews, perform risk analysis, and manage security-focused projects.
• Strong technical knowledge to engage in productive discussions regarding security requirements and architecture with system departments and other stakeholders.
• Excellent bilingual communication skills in both Japanese and English, as you will frequently collaborate with international teams in the US, EU, and Asia through online meetings, written reports, and overseas travel.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to build professional networks, respect diverse perspectives, and explain complex security issues to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with ITIL-based processes, cloud service risk management, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
