We are searching for a Senior Information Security Engineer to join our international team and help us navigate the complex security challenges of our hybrid infrastructure. This is a full-time, remote position that offers you the freedom to work from anywhere in the world while collaborating with highly skilled professionals on cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of secure network configurations for our public cloud, containerized environments, and server infrastructure.
- Manage our existing security toolset and lead the integration of new solutions.
- Conduct security validations and execute hardening processes across our various systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert by providing guidance and support to our IT staff regarding best practices for system hardening.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in information security.
- A deep understanding of networking fundamentals like TCP/IP, DNS, and routing, along with knowledge of threat detection and prevention techniques.
- Practical experience securing network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Expertise in hardening operating systems and network services on Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
- Hands-on experience securing public cloud environments and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining security tools such as EDR, VM, MDM, and PAM systems.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python or Bash.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture.
- Practical background in network penetration testing.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Understanding of security implications related to infrastructure-as-code approaches.
