We’re looking for a Business Information Security Officer who expects more from their career.
Joining our team you will be responsible for dispersing the information security message to the business lines by establishing links in the business and through the recruiting, motivating and coordinating of Information Security Advocates.
What we expect from you
- ITIL V3/V4 foundation
- CISSP or CISM or other equivalent qualification
- Establish lines of communication with the business to promote the importance of Information Security both reputationally and financially.
- Provide a conduit to the business to raise Information Security risks.
- Help the business understand the need for compliance with Information Security policies.
- Manage events to encourage colleagues to sign up to become Information Security Advocates.
- Manage regular meetings of the security advocates.
- Provide updates to the security advocates via Teams Channels.
- Work with the managers of Security Advocates to add security related objectives to their annual review and where possible to their job descriptions.
- Create a syllabus for Security Advocates using available resources to encourage them to learn more about Information Security.
- Promote Information Security Policies to the Security Advocates and to the business beyond
