Welcome to Smartling. For the past 14 years, we have dedicated ourselves to making the world of localization and translation seamless for our clients. As a profitable company backed by Battery Ventures, we have established ourselves as the only cloud-based, AI-enabled translation platform that blends a Neural Machine Translation Hub with professional language services. We are looking for a Senior Information Security Compliance Analyst to join our team and help us maintain the high standards that our customers rely on. If you are a proactive professional who thrives in a remote environment, we would love to have you on board.
What you'll be doing
- You will manage our ongoing compliance efforts, ensuring we meet the requirements for PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, and ISO 27001.
- You will serve as a key partner to our sales team by completing security questionnaires and responding to RFPs while acting as the primary point of contact for customer compliance inquiries.
- You will lead our internal and external audit processes, which includes gathering evidence, documenting risk assessments, and collaborating with our engineering teams to ensure our systems remain secure and compliant.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in security and a passion for detail. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience working in IT security, compliance, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and the audit process.
- Technical knowledge regarding encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools and security monitoring platforms.
- A degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline, though equivalent professional experience is also welcomed.
- Fluency in English to effectively communicate with our global team and clients.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex security strategies into actionable tasks.
What you'll get
We believe in supporting our team members with the flexibility they need to do their best work. As part of our team, you will enjoy:
- The freedom of a remote-first work environment.
- Flexible hours to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Generous paid time off.
