We are looking for a dedicated professional to help us protect our organization's most sensitive data and ensure we remain at the forefront of security standards. If you are passionate about safeguarding information and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to have you join our team.
What is this role?
We are hiring a Senior Information Security Analyst for a full-time position based in the United Kingdom. This is a hybrid role, offering you the flexibility to balance your work between home and the office. You will be a key player in our security operations, ensuring that our systems remain resilient against evolving threats while maintaining strict compliance with global regulations.
What will you do?
- Proactively monitor our security systems to detect unusual activity, investigate potential threats, and lead our incident response efforts.
- Conduct regular assessments of our security posture to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Develop and implement robust security protocols and policies, while collaborating with our IT teams to ensure these measures are integrated across the organization.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid background in information security and a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. We value candidates who possess the following qualities and skills:
- Professional experience with security tools such as SIEM and IDS.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, specifically GDPR.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or Lead Auditor status are highly beneficial.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, as you will be responsible for conducting security awareness training and coordinating with external auditors.
Please note that because our team handles highly sensitive financial and compliance information, all successful candidates must undergo a rigorous pre-employment background investigation. This includes checks on criminal history, credit, and professional qualifications.
What's in it for you?
We are committed to supporting your well-being and professional growth. When you join us, you will have access to the following benefits:
- Opportunities for ongoing professional development.
- A generous leave package including 25 days of paid time off plus bank holidays.
- Comprehensive life insurance and private health insurance.
- A competitive pension scheme.
- Access to employee discount portals and a cycle-to-work scheme.
