The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be a central figure in fostering a culture of security awareness and protecting our organizational assets from cyber threats. You will act as a trusted advisor to our IT leadership, helping to align our security objectives with our broader business goals. By sharing your expertise and driving continuous improvement, you will play a vital part in strengthening our resilience against the evolving landscape of cybersecurity challenges.
A day in the life
- You will actively monitor our security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM tools, to ensure we detect and respond to incidents with speed and precision.
- You will lead the investigation of security breaches, performing root cause analysis to develop long-term strategies that prevent future issues while collaborating closely with our IT and business units.
- You will design and implement engaging security awareness training programs, educating our employees on best practices to ensure that security consciousness remains a core part of our daily operations.
Who you are
You bring at least 3 years of experience in information security, specifically within incident response, vulnerability management, or security operations. You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, and you possess relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+. Your background includes:
- Deep expertise in networking protocols, operating systems, and the software development lifecycle.
- A strong grasp of encryption methods, penetration testing coordination, and security best practices.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, allowing you to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the critical thinking abilities required to make sound, independent decisions.
- Fluency in English.
