The role

We are seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position that offers the opportunity to work closely with our Director of Information Security. You will play a vital role in our technology organization by helping to monitor, implement, and improve our security, risk, and compliance programs. If you are early in your career and eager to influence our risk posture while developing your technical expertise, this role is a great fit.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the vendor assessment process by evaluating the security practices of third parties, maintaining risk documentation, and coordinating remediation efforts.
• Support our vulnerability management program by identifying, tracking, and validating security vulnerabilities across our technology stack.
• Contribute to enterprise risk management by generating security metrics, assisting with audit evidence collection, and helping to design and implement organizational security policies.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in security principles and a desire to grow your career. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in information security or risk management.
• Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Proficiency in data analytics, including experience with SQL, R programming, and Tableau for visualization.
• Technical knowledge of security tools, including vulnerability scanners and cloud security posture management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English.
