We are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract. At Ada, we use artificial intelligence to bridge the gap in healthcare access, working alongside medical professionals and global organizations to help millions of people better understand their health.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for information security governance, risk management, supplier management, and compliance.
- Identify, document, and implement security requirements derived from business regulations, industry standards, and contracts.
- Lead or participate in internal security audits and risk management initiatives.
- Manage the remediation of audit findings and the treatment of identified security risks.
- Develop and maintain essential information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Must-haves
- Proven experience in information security governance, risk management, supplier management, and compliance.
- Solid understanding of North American security standards and regulations, such as SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST CSF, PHIPA, and PIPEDA.
- Experience or formal training in performing internal or external security audits.
- Strong analytical abilities, specifically regarding gap analysis and risk assessment processes.
- Foundational knowledge of software development, networking, and cloud computing.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to quality and respect for diverse perspectives.
