At Kids in Need of Defense, known as KIND, we serve as a global leader dedicated to protecting unaccompanied and separated children who have been forcibly displaced from their homes. Since our founding in 2008, we have worked to ensure that every child’s rights are upheld throughout their journey to safety. We are currently expanding our reach across the Americas and Europe to address the legal and mental health needs of this vulnerable population. We are looking for an Implementation Coordinator to join our Talent and Learning team in a remote capacity, where you will help us optimize how we support our staff and grow our organizational impact.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead the implementation and ongoing management of our Talent Management System, which includes handling configuration, testing, and deployment while coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- You will oversee the daily operations of our Learning Management System, including managing user accounts, assigning courses, and monitoring engagement metrics to ensure our team has the resources they need.
- You will provide essential technical support and administrative guidance, helping to develop training materials and ensuring that our data remains accurate and secure across both systems.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical aptitude and a commitment to our mission. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Instructional Design, paired with at least two years of relevant experience, or five years of equivalent professional experience.
- At least one year of direct experience working with Talent Management system administration.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to handle complex projects with strong organizational skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and during verbal interactions with diverse audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
What you'll get
We are committed to supporting your well-being and professional growth. As part of our team, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with KIND covering 100% of the employee-only premium for select plans.
- Employer-paid life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and both short-term and long-term disability coverage.
- Pre-tax flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent care, as well as transit and parking benefits.
- A focus on wellness through dedicated programs, including employee assistance, resilience resources, and mindfulness training.
- The flexibility of a remote work arrangement with paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
