Role at a glance

We are looking for a Mid-Level Imagery Support Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, meaning you can contribute to our mission from anywhere. You will play a vital role in ensuring our cutting-edge hyperspectral imagery reaches our clients effectively while helping us refine our technical operations.

Your impact

• Translate complex customer requirements into actionable tasking schemas and optimize satellite tasking decks to ensure our constellation operates at peak efficiency.
• Provide advanced technical support for our imagery products, troubleshooting intricate issues and collaborating with our engineering teams to boost overall product quality.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance on hyperspectral data and maintain technical documentation to ensure we consistently meet our client service level agreements.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver with a strong technical foundation. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in technical analytics.
• Proficiency in GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS, alongside remote sensing data analysis techniques.
• A working knowledge of Python, GDAL, Jupyter, and GitHub.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Please note that due to ITAR regulations, you must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
