We are currently seeking a Director - Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in our New York City office.
Key outcomes
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with our organizational goals and support a lean, efficient business model.
- Manage the full lifecycle of the talent acquisition process, from initial job postings to the final offer stage.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of our HRIS, including database management, system upgrades, and module customization.
- Design and interpret internal surveys regarding onboarding, wellness, and management initiatives to drive meaningful business results.
- Partner with leadership to foster a positive work environment, improve employee morale, and mitigate turnover.
- Identify training needs and ensure that professional development programs are aligned with our core business objectives.
- Streamline our performance management and career development processes.
- Ensure full compliance with all employment laws and regulations through routine audits and the preparation of required reports.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute HR programs, including management excellence and compensation benefits.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in private equity.
- Proven ability to develop and improve compensation plans, including those involving carried interest.
- Deep understanding of benefit plans tailored to the needs of private equity professionals.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and SharePoint.
- Practical experience with HR database administration and systems.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
