What you bring
As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will serve as a champion of our culture and values while partnering with managers to drive high performance and inclusion. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the United States, specifically requiring residency in the Bay Area, California, to support our regional needs. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between strategic HR initiatives and daily school operations.
- Provide expert advice and counsel to leadership regarding performance management, employment practices, and labor compliance.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting objective investigations and mediating conflicts.
- Drive organizational development by identifying training needs, supporting change management, and developing retention strategies.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced professional who possesses a deep commitment to our mission and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. You should have at least five years of experience in human resources or a related field, with a minimum of one year in an HRBP or generalist capacity. A bachelor's degree is required, and holding a SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is highly preferred. You must be proficient in HRIS systems and Google Suite, and you should bring a strong working knowledge of employment law, performance management, and compensation practices. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, disciplined thinker who maintains irreproachable integrity and has the self-awareness to lead in a diverse and inclusive workplace.
