We are currently looking for a motivated student to join us as an HR Intern on a part-time, remote basis. Our organization, Relief International, is dedicated to supporting current and former staff members in Afghanistan as they navigate the US Refugee Admissions Program Priority 2. This initiative helps Afghan nationals who worked for international NGOs with USAID funding to apply for US visas. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission by helping us manage, verify, and submit these critical applications to the US government portal.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with our HR team in Afghanistan to manage incoming referral packages.
- Review application materials to verify identity documents and ensure that every required piece of information is included.
- Facilitate the signature process with our CEO and manage the final upload of documents into the official US government portal, while maintaining a detailed tracking spreadsheet.
Requirements
This internship is designed for a student who is eager to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources. You should possess strong management and communication skills to effectively handle sensitive documentation and interact with international team members. Proficiency in English is required to ensure clear coordination across our global offices.
