Are you ready to bring your HR expertise to a brand that’s redefining fitness culture and building a workplace where people genuinely belong?
What you bring
We’re looking for a mid-level HR Generalist to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role you’ll partner with managers across both our corporate and retail operations, providing day-to-day HR guidance while leading employee relations matters with fairness and consistency. Your background in retail and human resources, combined with hands-on experience in employee relations, employment law, ADP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, performance management, and coaching, will help you deliver practical support that drives engagement and an exceptional employee experience. Three key responsibilities include managing employee relations issues from investigation through resolution, supporting performance management and coaching conversations with retail and corporate leaders, and coordinating leave-of-absence processes while ensuring compliance with New York State and New York City labor laws. This position is based at our United States location.
Requirements
You bring proven HR experience in a generalist or specialist capacity, ideally gained in a fast-paced retail setting, along with strong knowledge of New York State and New York City employment legislation and comfort using the ADP TotalSource platform. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint supports your ability to analyze people data and produce clear reports, while excellent verbal and written communication skills help you adapt your message to different audiences. You thrive when working autonomously in a dynamic environment, demonstrate commercial awareness and creative problem-solving, and approach every interaction with integrity, respect, and sound judgment. A collaborative mindset and the ability to build relationships across functions are essential. Preferred qualifications include a SHRM certification or equivalent, multi-state HR experience, and familiarity with global employment legislation or supporting international remote teams. The ideal candidate holds at least a bachelor’s degree, values inclusivity, and is eager to champion a positive employee experience at every touchpoint.
What we offer
We provide a competitive compensation package along with the resources and support you need to grow your career. Our benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement savings options, generous paid time off, and wellness programs that align with our fitness-focused culture. You’ll also have access to professional development opportunities, employee discounts on Gymshark products, and the chance to work alongside passionate colleagues who are united by innovation and performance.
How to Apply
If this opportunity excites you, we encourage you to submit your application before the closing date of Friday, 12th September. We look forward to learning how your skills and perspective can contribute to our mission of creating a workplace where everyone belongs.
