We are currently looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Our company is growing at an exciting pace, and we need someone who is ready to take ownership of our human resources and administrative processes. What you'll be doing
- You will manage our weekly payroll using Paycor software, which includes recording journal entries, handling payroll taxes, and processing specific garnishments or union reports.
- You will oversee our insurance administration, which involves verifying monthly billings, managing new enrollments, handling Worker’s Compensation claims, and coordinating our medical open enrollment periods.
- You will support our office operations by managing accounts payable, recording timesheets for job allocation, maintaining personnel files, and organizing employee engagement activities like anniversary recognitions and charitable events.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field. We are looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience who is comfortable working in an on-site environment. You must have a strong background in payroll processing and be fluent in English. We value candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing confidential information with integrity.
