The role

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our HQ team. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates located within the CET +/- 1 time zone. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality user interfaces and implementing features that directly impact our global community of workers.

Core responsibilities

• Elevate our mobile application by designing and refining intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces.
• Develop and integrate new features using Kotlin while strictly adhering to material design principles.
• Maintain a modularized codebase with a focus on clean architecture, long-term maintainability, and high code quality.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience with Java, Kotlin, and the Android Framework.
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, source control, code reviews, and testing standards.
• Experience performing unit, end-to-end, and screenshot testing using frameworks like JUnit5 and Espresso.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to facilitate effective collaboration within a remote environment.
• A proactive interest in emerging Android trends and technologies.
