About the Role
We are looking for a High Pressure Die Cast Engineering Project Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a lead-level position focused on overseeing and optimizing high-pressure die casting processes within a manufacturing environment. You will play a vital role in managing production resources, ensuring high quality standards, and driving efficiency through advanced production tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to achieve continuous improvement goals, manage new model launches, and implement capacity enhancements.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including the creation of schedules, maintenance of budgets and forecasts, and the resolution of technical issues.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to technical and maintenance teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness, specifically focusing on reducing downtime and increasing reliability.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Proven professional experience working with high-pressure die casting processes.
- Strong technical knowledge of die design, tooling, and metal casting techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to coach engineers and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- The ability to travel between 20% and 40% of the time.
Location
This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.
