The role
We are looking for a Senior Helpdesk Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Spain, where you will play a vital part in maintaining our technical infrastructure and supporting our internal users. We operate in a fast-paced, multi-OS environment, and we need someone with the experience to handle complex technical challenges with ease.
Core responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal technical support, managing and resolving tickets through our Jira Service Management system while maintaining high standards for response times.
- Oversee office management tasks, including the onboarding and offboarding of users, maintaining accurate equipment inventory, and coordinating with facility service teams.
- Perform remote troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to resolve issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate support tiers when necessary.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 3 to 4 years of proven experience in a similar helpdesk or technical support role.
- Strong proficiency in both Mac and PC environments.
- Experience using helpdesk ticketing systems, such as Jira or Zendesk.
- Familiarity with single sign-on solutions, MDM tools, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- An analytical mindset with a passion for automation, efficiency, and solving complex problems.
