Our Santa Monica office serves as a vibrant hub for approximately 100 talented professionals who bring these iconic stories to life. To keep our studio running smoothly, we are looking for a dedicated Helpdesk Support Technician to join our technology team. You will work under the guidance of our VP of Technology and Infrastructure Engineer to ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and efficient for our creative staff.

The opportunity

This full-time, on-site role is perfect for a mid-level IT professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. As a key member of our support team, you will be the primary point of contact for our Santa Monica staff, helping them navigate a predominantly macOS environment. You will play a vital role in maintaining our technical infrastructure, ensuring that our artists and production teams have the tools they need to create cinematic magic every single day.

A day in the life

• Provide hands-on and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring our team stays productive.
• Manage the full lifecycle of employee workstations, from configuring new Mac systems to handling account provisioning and offboarding.
• Maintain our internal knowledge base and inventory records while assisting with audio and visual support for our collaborative conference spaces.

Who you are

You are a tech-savvy professional with at least two years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment. You feel right at home in a macOS-heavy setting and possess a solid understanding of networking fundamentals. You are a clear communicator who enjoys helping others, whether you are walking a colleague through a fix over the phone or setting up a new workstation in person. You are comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, and you bring a proactive, learning-oriented mindset to the table.

• Active Directory administration and basic PowerShell scripting.
• Cloud-based collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
• Device management solutions such as Jamf.
• Creative software environments, including Adobe Creative Cloud or Avid Media Composer.
