Role at a glance
We are searching for a Junior Help Desk Technician to join our Information Technology team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United States. You will be the go-to person for company-wide technical support, ensuring our systems run smoothly and our team stays connected.
Your impact
- Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve incoming technical support requests from our staff.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of software, hardware, and networking issues to keep our operations moving.
- Monitor our network infrastructure to identify and report connectivity issues while maintaining detailed documentation of all support activities.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in technology and a commitment to excellent customer service. We require the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least four years of relevant experience paired with a current technical certification like A+, N+, or CCNA.
- A solid working knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, software, and operating system interactions.
- Professional proficiency in English and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and installing equipment.
- At least one year of experience in a related field is preferred, as is a Microsoft Technology Associate or CompTIA A+ certification.
