At PursueCare, we provide compassionate, judgment-free addiction recovery and behavioral health services through our specialized telemedicine platform. We are looking for a Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team in Middletown, CT, to assist our clinical and administrative staff with their daily technical needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the setup of laptops, email accounts, and all necessary equipment for new team members.
- Log and track technical inquiries using our Freshdesk ticketing system.
- Deliver support via phone, video, and chat to internal staff and patients using the PursueCare app.
- Develop simple training resources to help users navigate common technical issues.
- Assist with hardware troubleshooting for clinical and administrative equipment.
- Address security concerns, including potential viruses, system hacks, or spyware.
Must-haves
- Proficiency with hardware, including Intel-based desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Experience with Windows 10 and higher, macOS, and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- A strong customer service mindset and the ability to troubleshoot technical problems remotely.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, especially when working under pressure.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Understanding of Active Directory and Azure.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing environments.
- Familiarity with Meraki Firewalls.
