Role at a glance

We are looking for an Executive level Head of UI and UX Platform to join our team on a Full Time basis. This is a Hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, where you will lead our platform strategy and engineering efforts to build the foundation for our next generation of trading applications.

Your impact

• Partner with product and engineering leadership to define the roadmap and build a robust UI platform that serves as the foundation for all our applications.
• Provide technical vision and ownership for strategic initiatives involving the UI/UX platform, cloud infrastructure, and event-streaming architectures.
• Lead the design strategy and vision for our products, ensuring we deliver relevant, useful, and delightful experiences through scalable design systems.

What you'll need

You should be an expert in modern software engineering with a deep passion for architecture and user-centered design. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and can influence strategy at the executive level.

• Over 12 years of progressive software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in an architecture or leadership role and 5 years in cloud computing environments.
• At least 5 years of experience in UX design and interaction design.
• Proven track record in the financial services or e-trading industry.
• Deep technical proficiency with Java, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Kafka, and Cloud Native architectures.
• Strong experience with API and Microservices design, as well as Event Streaming technologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor global teams and articulate complex technical roadmaps to stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
