The opportunity
We are looking for a Head of Treasury to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this senior role, you will be the primary guardian of our funding and inventory positions. You will take ownership of controlling our financial risks and liabilities while ensuring we always have the necessary capital on hand to support our operations. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to craft value-creating trading strategies that help us stay at the forefront of the industry.
A day in the life
- You will lead our treasury team and oversee all related initiatives, including the management of cash operations and the efficient movement of funds.
- You will develop robust cryptocurrency trading strategies that align with our company objectives and the broader macroeconomic environment.
- You will maintain strong relationships with our banking partners and liquidity providers while providing regular reporting to our board, investors, and regulators.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of finance and treasury management. You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Political Science, or a related field, and you have significant experience managing treasury functions at a leadership level. Because we operate in a specialized space, you have advanced knowledge of cryptocurrency and proven experience in crypto trading. You are a strong communicator who builds lasting relationships with external partners. While not required, we would love to hear from you if you have experience with Canadian crypto regulatory requirements, including AML and KYC, or if you have previously worked at a crypto trading platform.
