We are searching for a strategic leader to head our talent function and help us build the most effective hiring team in the world. You will work directly with our executive team to define our organizational needs, manage our hiring operations, and ensure we continue to attract top-tier talent as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Identify our future hiring needs and continuously improve our recruitment methods.
- Serve as a central leader for all hiring initiatives, working closely with managers to align staffing with our broader business goals.
- Design and execute comprehensive, full-cycle staffing plans tailored to specific departments like engineering, design, and research.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates from across the industry.
- Oversee the entire candidate journey to ensure everyone who interacts with us has an astonishing experience, regardless of the hiring outcome.
- Establish compensation structures, manage pipelines, and lead team planning to meet our growth targets.
- Cultivate an inclusive environment and actively work to diversify our talent pool.
- Coach the entire Luma team on recruitment best practices, from initial intake and qualification to debriefs and offer negotiations.
- Promote our employer brand and clearly communicate our value proposition to prospective hires.
- Structure roles and responsibilities to ensure they align with both our current stage and our future growth.
Must-haves
- At least 7 years of in-house recruiting experience within high-growth companies.
- A proven track record of leading rapid scaling efforts while maintaining high hiring standards.
- A self-starting mindset with the drive to take ownership of projects and get things done.
- The versatility to dive into any department or guild where we need to hire.
- Deep knowledge of the talent market and the specific roles we are filling.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate our recruiting vision and strategy across the organization.
- The ability to internalize our mission and effectively sell it to prospective candidates.
- A candidate-focused mentality that prioritizes a positive experience for everyone.
- Expert-level proficiency in selecting, configuring, and utilizing ATS platforms.
