What is this role?
We are searching for a Head of Security Operations to join our team in a senior-level, full-time capacity. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will report directly to our Head of Technology and take full ownership of our security operations, collaborating across the organization to protect our systems as we scale.
What will you do?
- Design and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with our business goals, including the development of our internal security standards and playbooks.
- Manage our daily security operations, which covers everything from threat detection and incident response to vulnerability management and security monitoring.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement effective mitigation strategies to strengthen our overall security posture.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 7 years of experience in security engineering and SecOps, ideally within a fast-paced startup or fintech environment. We are looking for someone who is a natural problem-solver and a process driver who can build repeatable solutions while using data to guide decision-making. You should have a deep understanding of security principles, threat landscapes, and modern security technologies. Furthermore, you must be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in English is required, along with experience managing security frameworks like SOC2, GDPR, or PCI-DSS.
