We are looking for a Head of Security Operations to join our team in a full-time capacity. Setpoint acts as the essential infrastructure for credit relationships, powering the transactions that allow people to buy homes, secure business loans, and manage credit. By digitizing assets and automating complex compliance reporting, our platform makes warehouse transactions both instant and error-free. As we continue to grow, we need a leader to own our security operations, report directly to our Head of Technology, and help us build lasting trust in the credit ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with our core business goals while overseeing daily operations like threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Establish and maintain our internal security standards and playbooks, including the management of access controls, SSO, and document retention policies.
- Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and lead the integration of security best practices across all departments.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in security engineering and SecOps, ideally within a fast-paced fintech or startup environment.
- Proven expertise in establishing and maintaining security frameworks such as SOC2, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- A deep understanding of the modern threat landscape and the ability to explain complex technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong personal motivation to stay at the cutting edge of security technology and a data-driven approach to solving problems.
