About the Role:
The Sales Leader is newly created role and our first sales professional who will own and build our ‘go to market’ sales playbook and strategies to favorably position Paidiem in the market, and to build and nurture a team to help us and win business to meet our revenue targets.
This impactful role sits at the epicenter of our growth plan and has various cross-functional engagements with customer success, product development and marketing teams. To be successful in this role, you will have an entrepreneurial mindset and be excited about building, growing and coaching a team, driving sales growth and product progression at a fast-growing start-up. This individual will utilize their proven, phenomenal sales leadership experience to continually bring Paidiem to the next level.

The primary functions of this role are to build and deliver on a sales strategy, build and lead a team, and win business and retain customers.
Primary Functions:
Build and deliver on a sales strategy:
Collaboratively develop a ‘go to market playbook’ and sales strategy including but not limited to a sales pipeline plan, segment-based messaging and pitch plans, and targets and measures, to meet Paidiem’s sales goals.
Meet or exceed set sales goals both individually and through the team via lead generation, sales calls, platform demos, and proposals to small, medium, large and enterprise prospects.
Listen intently to the market and customer to ensure our messaging and product features are best in class.
Support sales, marketing, and customer success operational processes to ensure we can effectively manage our business and metrics, and successfully deliver for our customers.
Build and lead a team:
Assess and plan for the staffing needs of the team based on our growth targets.
Hire, lead and coach a high functioning sales team that delivers results to meet or exceed sales targets and maintaining healthy and productive competitive and collaborative team spirit.
Grow and nurture the team, including planning for career and professional growth, succession planning, and a focus on the overall wellbeing of the team.
Win Business and retain customer
Plan and lead the execution outbound lead generation and sales strategies.
Communicate with prospects to understand their needs and explain Paidiem’s value proposition.
Attend and participate in industry functions and trade shows, webinars; network with industry and referring groups.
Collaborate with clients, customer success, product and technical teams to delight our customers through the delivery of our product and services.
Provide responsive, high-quality level of service and support to stakeholders as may be required including customers, colleagues, and end users, to ensure our brand, our business, and our culture thrives.
