Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Head of Risk to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere in Canada. You will be responsible for defining our risk strategy and leading a high-performing team to protect our platform while maintaining an exceptional user experience.
Your impact
- Lead and mentor our operational teams to safeguard the platform against fraud through rigorous loss analysis and suspicious activity reviews.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to design a robust detection framework that balances effective risk mitigation with seamless customer journeys.
- Build comprehensive fraud reporting and risk policies that drive operational efficiency and support our continued growth.
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of full-time experience in risk management within the fintech sector.
- Proven ability to lead operational teams and drive material change at scale.
- Deep familiarity with industry-standard fraud prevention tools and data analysis techniques.
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly when working with technical partners in machine learning, engineering, and product development.
- Fluency in English to support our diverse user base across Canada.
- A passion for Bitcoin and a track record of fostering a data-driven, high-performance culture.
