Head of Product at Floodbase

The role

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Product to lead the next stage of our platform's evolution. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position based in the United States. You will report directly to our Chief Product and Strategy Officer, taking ownership of our product strategy from the foundational data architecture to our client-facing applications. We need a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between complex technical data and tangible market value.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and execute a unified product roadmap that integrates our AI platform, applications, and analytics to maintain our competitive edge in the market.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between our technology and commercial teams to ensure that resource allocation and execution remain aligned with our strategic goals.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers while serving as a product evangelist across the entire organization.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience in product leadership, specifically within the enterprise software or data platform sectors.
• A proven history of defining and delivering successful product roadmaps that drive commercial growth.
• Deep experience in building data-intensive technology, including the ability to iterate based on direct customer feedback.
• Demonstrated success in hiring, managing, and developing teams of at least 3 to 5 direct reports.
• Strong proficiency in English and a genuine passion for climate technology.
• Experience in high-growth B2B environments, such as InsurTech or FinTech, is highly preferred.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive base salary for this position, ranging from $160,000 to $190,000, along with an equity package. Our comprehensive benefits program includes:
