YOUR ROLE AS HEAD OF PRODUCT AT 0x

As the Head of Product at 0x, you’ll lead our Product team, overseeing our consumer product, Matcha, and our developer platform. Your mission will be to ensure our product development organizations are operating at the highest level.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will bridge communication and drive alignment across leadership, product, design, engineering, and data. You'll help the team maintain a healthy pace for long-term sustainability by carefully balancing velocity vs. technical debt. You will have key influence on our product roadmap and company culture, and be a champion of both.

On any given day, you may work with leadership on business or organizational strategy, make priority calls on roadmap items and feature vs. technical debt tradeoffs, coach team members across a myriad of functions, develop a strong product management bench, and/or review a feature specification.

We're seeking a visionary Product Leader to spearhead our product lifecycle, from concept to launch, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. In this role, you'll align our founder's vision with strategic product roadmaps, mentor the product management team, and drive cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will balance data-driven decision-making with intuitive product sense, implementing best practices and frameworks that elevate our product development process and organizational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, continuously improving shipping velocity and quality
• Align the founder-defined vision and strategy to product roadmaps and execution
• Mentor the product management team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Implement product management best practices, systems, and frameworks
• Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Data, and GTM so that all teams are executing as one
• Balance a rigorous, outcomes-driven approach with good judgment, taste, and feel
• Improve documentation and bolster efficient and effective communication across the organization
• Champion a data-driven and data-accountable culture, defining frameworks and metrics to measure success and impact

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience (10+ years) in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a tech startup or fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing software products from inception through launch and iteration
• Demonstrated ability to implement product management principles, frameworks, tactics, best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders.
• Empathetic leadership, with a passion for coaching, mentorship, and fostering collaboration.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance data-driven decision-making with intuition and user insights.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving product strategies aligned with business goals.
• A strategic thinker who can zoom out to consider medium- and long-term implications while excelling in execution and day-to-day management.
• Intellectual curiosity and great problem solving skills.
• Experience leading product in an org with more than one product line and competing priorities.
• Experience in crypto and/or developer platforms is highly desirable.

• The base salary range for this position is USD $200,000 - $300,000 + equity + ZRX tokens + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, location, business needs, and candidate preferences between the different compensation elements.
