We are searching for a visionary Head of Product at the VP level to guide our strategy, vision, and execution as we redefine the future of customer engagement. Appcues is a category-defining SaaS platform that empowers technology businesses to drive growth by optimizing onboarding, expansion, and renewals. With over 1,400 customers and a deep wealth of data regarding user behavior, we are uniquely positioned to transform how companies interact with their users. In this role, you will lead our product and design organizations to build autonomous, simple solutions that remove complexity and deliver seamless experiences throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
Key outcomes
- Define and execute a differentiated product roadmap that aligns with our mission and inspires our teams to achieve their best work.
- Leverage our existing data assets and AI capabilities to drive the next evolution of our product category.
- Foster a customer-first culture that prioritizes solving meaningful problems and delivering continuous value.
- Oversee product discovery to ensure our teams focus on high-impact initiatives that maximize strategic value.
- Partner with engineering leadership to maintain high R&D velocity and deliver iterative, high-quality platform improvements.
- Build, mentor, and scale a world-class product and design organization through transparent and trust-based leadership.
- Collaborate across the business with GTM, marketing, and engineering leaders to ensure our product vision translates into measurable revenue growth.
- Establish and track key performance metrics to optimize product impact and support our long-term business goals.
Requirements
- Proven executive leadership experience managing product teams within the SaaS sector, specifically for businesses ranging from $20m to $150m ARR.
- Expertise in customer experience, including a deep understanding of engagement, retention, and user journey mapping.
- Strong technical literacy regarding code base composition, engineering metrics, and data processing management.
- A demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical tools into turnkey, expert-led solutions that provide clear value to C-suite executives.
- Experience utilizing data and AI models to create agentic solutions that improve time to value for customers.
- A first-principles approach to problem-solving, with a focus on creating scalable, elegant software.
- Expertise working within GTM and martech tool ecosystems.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
