We are Manticore Games, and we are currently searching for an entrepreneurial and innovative Head of Marketing to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you will guide the launch of our upcoming MMO. You will oversee a wide range of functions, including go-to-market strategy, product positioning, branding, user research, community management, and user acquisition. We are looking for an ambitious leader who is ready to help us bring this epic life-simulation experience to the global market. While our headquarters are in San Mateo, this position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead comprehensive marketing strategies, directing all go-to-market activities for our new MMO title.
- Create and manage product positioning, branding, and messaging strategies to ensure our value proposition resonates with players.
- Analyze marketing program performance across all channels to optimize ad spend and maximize growth, retention, and revenue.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in full-stack marketing and senior leadership, specifically within the gaming, social media, or technology sectors.
- A deep, demonstrated passion for MMOs and a proven track record of launching and scaling free-to-play games or marketplaces on PC and console platforms.
- Strong expertise in brand building, storytelling, and executing viral or grassroots marketing campaigns.
- Ability to synthesize complex data and KPIs into clear reports for executive stakeholders.
- A BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
What we offer
