Role at a glance
We are searching for a Head of Machine Learning to join our team in a full-time, executive capacity. This is a hybrid position based in the United States. You will be responsible for defining our AI and machine learning strategy, leading our talented technical team, and ensuring our data initiatives drive meaningful business results.
Your impact
- Develop and execute a comprehensive AI and machine learning roadmap that aligns with our core business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Manage the full lifecycle of ML projects, from initial scoping and milestone planning to final deployment and performance analysis.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing team while collaborating across departments to translate complex data insights into actionable business value.
What you'll need
You should be a seasoned leader with a deep technical background and a passion for applying AI to the healthcare and insurance sectors. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, AI, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and managing end-to-end machine learning products, ideally within a startup environment.
- Expertise in the modern ML stack, including Python, Scikit-learn, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Huggingface.
- Strong proficiency with data infrastructure and deployment tools such as Spark, Databricks, and AWS Sagemaker.
- The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and a proven track record of strategic team leadership.
- Fluency in English.
