We are looking for a visionary Head of IT Operations to lead our technology infrastructure at our high-frequency trading firm. In this executive role, you will be responsible for the systems and architecture that power our trading strategies. We operate at the intersection of finance and advanced engineering, and we need someone who can maintain the high standards required for our competitive market environment.
What you'll be doing
- You will manage our cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including essential tools like git, jira, and vpn services, to ensure everything runs without interruption.
- You will build and mentor a high-performing team from the ground up to support our internal infrastructure and operational needs.
- You will define and enforce best practices for our systems, while creating clear documentation and coordinating across departments to solve complex technical challenges.
What you'll bring
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and you have at least 5 years of experience managing internal infrastructure.
- You possess strong leadership skills, allowing you to guide technical professionals effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a strategic mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities, which you use to make decisions that directly impact trading performance.
- You are fluent in English and have a proven ability to document processes and procedures with precision.
- It is a bonus if you have a Master's degree, experience in the financial sector, or specific expertise in network administration and low-latency trading systems.
