We are seeking a talented and experienced Infrastructure Manager or Team lead to spearhead our technology infrastructure operations at our High-Frequency Trading (HFT) company. This critical role includes overseeing the internal technology systems, system architecture, and quality of infrastructure services that drive our high-frequency trading strategies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensure seamless operation of company cloud and on-premise infrastructure services like git, jira, artifactory, vpn, etc.
- Implement and enforce best practices across all internal infrastructure operations.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among various teams and departments.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for internal processes and procedures.
- Coordinate with users to address their needs and concerns effectively.
- Establish and maintain testing environments for operational purposes.
- Build a skilled team from scratch to support internal infrastructure needs.
What We Look For In You:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in managing internal infrastructure and services.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce best practices in infrastructure management.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of technical professionals in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset to drive IT infrastructure decisions that impact trading performance.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and procedures comprehensively.
Nice-to-have:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant certifications.
- Experience in IT infrastructure management within the financial industry, with a focus on high-frequency trading or algorithmic trading environments.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing technology infrastructure solutions tailored for high-speed, low-latency trading.
- Expertise in network administration, system architecture, and performance optimization for high-frequency trading systems.
