About the Role
We are hiring a Head of Infrastructure to join us on a full-time basis. In this managerial position, you will take ownership of our entire IT ecosystem. You will be responsible for guiding our system administration and IT support teams while ensuring that our network, hardware, and software solutions operate at peak performance across all our sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee our comprehensive IT infrastructure, which includes managing network and WiFi connectivity, servers, and hardware across our cloud environments, data centers, corporate offices, and large-scale warehouse facilities.
- Direct the administration of our server environments and databases, including the deployment and monitoring of Linux and Windows systems, as well as the management of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Establish and implement clear policies and procedures for all systems to ensure high levels of security and operational efficiency, while also designing reliable backup and recovery strategies.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in Engineering and System Administration. We are looking for candidates who have experience with:
- Managing complex network environments and WiFi infrastructure.
- Working with cloud platforms like AWS and DigitalOcean.
- Operating within data centers and managing large-scale office and warehouse IT setups.
- Handling Linux and Windows server environments alongside database platforms like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Developing and maintaining robust backup and recovery solutions.
- Leading teams, as you will be responsible for managing both our System Admin and IT sub-teams.
Location
This position is an on-site role.
