What you bring

We are searching for a lead-level professional to join us in a full-time capacity as our Head of Infrastructure & Platform. This hybrid role is open to candidates located anywhere. You will be instrumental in shaping our technical landscape while working with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Terraform, and Jenkins. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring our Core Platform team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Driving operational excellence by balancing cost-conscious infrastructure management with the scalability and security of our systems.
• Optimizing our developer tool stack to maximize efficiency and align our infrastructure strategy with broader business objectives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a strategic, people-oriented leader who understands how infrastructure impacts overall business success. You should possess a strong background in managing technical teams and a proven ability to set goals that demonstrate clear business impact. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and developer productivity tools, as well as a solid understanding of the development lifecycle. You should be comfortable managing budgets and vendor relationships while communicating complex technical strategies to leadership. Excellent English communication skills are required, and proficiency in German is considered a valuable asset. We value candidates who thrive in agile, multinational, and distributed environments.
