The role

We are seeking a Head of Information Security to join our team as a senior leader. This is a full-time, remote position that requires a strategic mindset and deep technical expertise. As our CISO, you will report directly to the CTO and act as a primary advisor to our executive team and Board of Directors, ensuring that our security posture remains robust as we continue to scale our impact in the fintech space.

Core responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive information security and cyber risk management strategy that aligns with our business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing security organization while fostering a company-wide culture that prioritizes security in every department.
• Oversee the security architecture for our cloud-native environments and ensure rigorous compliance with financial standards like PCI DSS and ISO 27001.

Skills and experience

• Between 5 and 10 years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Proven professional background working within the fintech or a highly regulated financial services sector.
• Strong technical proficiency in securing cloud-native environments, specifically AWS and GCP.
• Deep familiarity with SIEM, DevSecOps practices, and incident response protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent our security posture to external partners.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Compensation and benefits

The target base salary range for this position is $216,000 to $240,000 USD. In addition to base pay, you will be eligible for our annual incentive program and equity opportunities. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
