Peerspace operates the leading online marketplace for venue rentals, connecting people with inspiring spaces for meetings, productions, and events. With more than $500 million transacted on the platform and backing from investors such as GV and Foundation Capital, we continue to scale a remote-first engineering organization of roughly thirty engineers that accounts for nearly one-third of the company. We are looking for an experienced engineering executive to join our leadership team, guide technology decisions, and help shape the next stage of growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full engineering organization across software development, infrastructure, security, and data engineering while setting the overall technology strategy.
- Define hiring plans and organizational structures that support high-velocity delivery and foster a performance culture built on initiative and value creation.
- Partner with the executive team on company-wide goals, contribute to product strategy, and mentor engineering leaders who excel at cross-functional execution.
Requirements
- Proven success leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams through strategy, organizational design, and talent management in fast-growing environments.
- Executive-level experience contributing to overall company strategy, bridging business and technical decisions, and working closely with product management throughout the product life cycle.
- Deep expertise in software development, technology infrastructure, and data practices, along with experience leading remote or distributed engineering teams.
What we offer
The annual salary range for this role is $300,000 to $350,000.
