Role at a glance

We are searching for a Head of Engineering to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is an executive-level position designed for a seasoned professional who excels at both high-level system architecture and strategic team leadership. You will work from anywhere to guide our engineering organization through its next phase of growth and innovation.

What you'll need

We are looking for a leader who brings a mix of deep technical expertise and strong business acumen. You should be comfortable communicating complex technical visions to stakeholders across the company.

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years leading medium-sized or larger engineering teams.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript technologies such as Node.js, React, and Next.js, along with experience in RESTful API back-ends and Rails.
• A proven history of designing and scaling complex systems, ideally within a marketplace or platform-as-a-service environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a genuine commitment to building diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environments.
