Our team of scientists, technologists, and psychiatrists works tirelessly to improve patient outcomes and support the development of life-saving treatments. We are a public benefit corporation that values honesty, transparency, and a patient-first approach. About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical strategy for our electronic health record platform and life sciences data products, ensuring we meet our roadmap milestones while managing technical and product debt.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team by recruiting top talent, fostering a culture of excellence, and managing both internal and nearshore teams.
- Collaborate across departments with leaders in Product, Operations, and Data Science to navigate complex trade-offs and maintain high standards for system uptime, security, and incident response.
Requirements
- Over 12 years of professional experience, including at least 6 years as a software engineer and 6 years in management reaching the Director level.
- Proven success managing managers with a total team size of 15 or more, ideally within a Series B or earlier startup environment.
- Deep technical expertise in modern AWS technologies and critical application architecture, with a track record of delivering high-quality software at speed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make difficult decisions while balancing business needs and technical complexity.
- Experience with healthcare IT, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare-specific information security is highly preferred.
